NCABC board members and other community workers are 100% unpaid volunteers

Challenging a corporation like Casella to stop a landfill construction project is always a lengthy process and one that incurs extensive costs for experts such as scientists, engineers, legal, and strategy consultants. NCABC’s strategic work to advocate for waste management reform is another ongoing expense.

Ways to Donate – On-line or by Check

Tax-deductible donations can be made via our 501(c)(3) partner Tiny Seed Project. These funds support the technical specialists and attorneys who review the minutiae of landfill permit applications, provide research, and develop testimony for hearings before regulatory agencies. Their expert critiques and commentary bring credible opposition to harmful projects that do not serve the public good. These funds also support broad educational initiatives to empower the public and municipal officials for effective civic action.

Non-tax-deductible donations can be made through GiveButter to fund our work in Concord, the state capital. We support legislators in reforming outdated rules that make NH vulnerable to irresponsible and dangerous waste-handling proposals like those in Dalton and Bethlehem. NCABC hires consultants who provide the strategic planning, know-how, influence, and networking needed to pass legislation for state-of-the-art landfill siting and regulation.

Thank you for your support.
